Yagi sent a message as the vice representative director of the Japan Welfare Medical Fashion Association and as manager of the Adult Diaper Information Center Japan.
Hagi is working to realize a city where everyone, including those using adult diapers, can avoid trouble at public restrooms.
Our connection with WheeLog! began from participating in a city walk event in 2018. When we came into contact with the initiative of sharing barrier-free information about places actually visited by people using wheelchairs on a mobile app, we realized that WheeLog! not only collects information but also serves as a platform that connects people.
Subsequently, in collaboration with members of WheeLog! for the introduction of a bedwalk lift, we worked together for the 2025 Osaka-Kansai World Expo.
When changing an adult incontinence product while away from home, even if a bed is available, some individuals may be unable to transfer to the bed on their own. To support these individuals during their outings, an environment that includes both a bed and a care lift is necessary.
In the support message, I conveyed our expectations for Yuriko Oda’s initiative as the representative director of WheeLog! and his efforts to share barrier-free information through the app.
