A “Toilet Care Equipment Exhibition 2025” was held at ATC Ageless Center on June 26, 2025.
Companies related to incontinence care gathered, and various products and initiatives supporting incontinence care were introduced from different perspectives, including diapers, excretion prediction devices, welfare equipment, clothing, and housing facilities. At the venue, in addition to the permanent exhibition by 104 companies, limited exhibitions by about 40 companies were also held.
Participants in the special exhibition included Kao Professional Services Co., Ltd., LiveDo Corporation, Nippon Paper Crecia Co., Ltd., Hakujuji Co., Ltd., Paramount Bed Co., Ltd., Abilities Care-net, Inc., Wacoal Corp. and the Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency (JAXA), among other companies and organizations.
At the seminar, speakers included Janice Chia, Founder and Managing Director of Aging Asia, as well as experts and corporate representatives from both Japan and abroad. A wide range of topics were shared, including information on DX for bowel care, welfare equipment, soft bowel care, treatment for fecal incontinence, diapers, clothing, and undergarments.
Also, Jenny Miller, Chief Executive of PAMIS, and Fiona Souter, Inclusive Communities Director of PAMIS, participated. This was a valuable opportunity to learn about the practice of incontinence care and accessible toilet environments overseas directly in Japan.
This event provided an opportunity for representatives from each manufacturer to directly exchange with medical, care, and welfare professionals, allowing them to learn about the latest products and initiatives related to incontinence care.
Hiroshi Yagi served as an assistant director of the Japan Welfare Medical Fashion Association, the organizing organization, and was involved in the planning and operations of this event.
