The size of an incontinence insert pad includes both width and length. This article compares the longest retail incontinence insert pad from each manufacturer by width, length, and approximate absorbency in voids. Among the seven companies’ products listed, the maximum length is 64cm and maximum width is 32cm.

A larger pad is not necessarily better. It is important to choose a size that fits inside the tape-fastened adult diaper. Size is not proportional to absorbency, so check carefully.

Comparing the length and width of retail incontinence insert pads

Product information was checked on each manufacturer’s official page on October 2, 2026. The seven companies listed do not represent every manufacturer.

Products are listed from longest to shortest; products of equal length are ordered from widest to narrowest. Absorbency counts are each company’s estimates and do not guarantee actual wear time or changing frequency.

Precautions when choosing pad size

A long pad does not suit everyone. Alongside body shape, urine volume, and changing frequency, check that it fits inside the standing leak guards of the tape-fastened adult diaper used with it. Pad edges protruding beyond the outer diaper may cause leakage.

Larger size does not necessarily mean higher absorbency. Check carefully. Some pads designed for hospitals and care facilities are longer than those introduced here. Depending on the person, pad length or width may help reduce leakage. It is important to try different diapers and pads.
