As a member of the Asahi Ward Toilet Beautification Committee, I received an award at the fourth Japan Toilet and People Awards, including the runner-up grand prize.

The Asahi Ward Toilet Beautification Committee has been conducting irregular cleaning activities for the public toilets in the ward since February 2017. The goal is to create a town where people can feel confident using public toilets when they go out. When public toilets are dirty, it is not guaranteed that anyone can use them comfortably. Particularly, people who are wearing diapers must deal with the situation of having to change diapers in a dirty toilet.

As we hold consecutive meetings, we discuss how to create a place where people do not get troubled when using the toilet outdoors, and in the process, we are developing and implementing new plans.

We have implemented activities such as creating toilet maps and games based on toilets.

We will continue to engage in activities while enjoying them.
