Boxer-style adult diapers are pull-on adult diapers with longer legs that cover down over the upper thighs. This article compares five current products from Koyo, Daio Paper and Kami Shoji by size and manufacturer-published absorbency guide. The Koyo and Kami Shoji products listed are for hospitals and care facilities; the Daio Paper products are for retail sale.

Product names and specifications were checked on each manufacturer’s official page on October 3, 2026. Sales channels, packaging and specifications can change, so check the latest labeling before purchasing.

Features of boxer-style adult diapers

They extend farther down the legs than ordinary pull-on adult diapers. They offer an option for people who value leg fit and an underwear-like appearance. Longer legs do not necessarily prevent leaks. Choose a size that fits the waist and thighs, and check for gaps or excessive tightness around the legs.

Points to check when choosing

First check waist size and leg fit. Then check the required absorbency and whether to buy retail products or order products intended for hospitals and care facilities. Numbers of voids are guides that vary with actual urine volume and fit. Kami Shoji lists approximately 330 cc rather than a number of voids, so do not compare that figure directly with other manufacturers’ void counts.

How they actually look

Summary

Boxer styles cover farther down the legs. Check waist and thigh fit, required absorbency and where to purchase. Manufacturers express absorbency guides differently, so assess them against actual urine volume and use conditions rather than judging products on the numbers alone.

Colored boxer-style adult diapers are also available; take a look at these as well.
