Diaper exhibition and changing-area hoist at Barrier Free 2025

A barrier-free 2025 event was held from April 16 to 18, 2025, at the Intex Osaka.

In Hall 3, we displayed diapers ahead of O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO on June 24 at Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan. The exhibition introduced ideas about the future of diapers from welfare, healthcare and fashion perspectives.

Additionally, a temporary diaper changing station in Building 4 is equipped with a care lift, installed with the cooperation of Abilities Care-net, Inc.

For changing the adult incontinence product while away from home, a large bed or universal sheet that allows lying down is needed. However, even if a bed is available, some individuals may find it difficult to transfer from a wheelchair to the bed. For such individuals, a care lift that can support lifting the body to assist with transfer is also necessary.

First, I would like to raise awareness among many people that there are individuals who require a care lift for changing diapers at outdoor diaper change stations.

Hiroshi Yagi, representing our company, has been working as an assistant director of the Japan Welfare Medical Fashion Association, participating in the development of the diaper display for the O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO and the initiative to set up a diaper changing station equipped with a care lift.
