On April 10, 2025, we held an in-person event at QUINTBRIDGE in Miyakojima Ward, Osaka, titled ‘Excreta have possibilities and ideas! A challenge for Expo 2025 Osaka, Kansai, Japan.’

This event was hosted by the Japan Welfare Medical Fashion Association and co-hosted with QUINTBRIDGE.

In preparation for the “O-MU-TSU WORLD EXPO” to be held at Osaka-Kansai Expo 2025, we have broadened our perspective beyond diapers, focusing on “excrement” as a theme, and considered the possibilities and new ideas with all of you.

Elimination is an essential part of life, yet it is often stigmatized. On the other hand, it has the potential to connect with various fields such as welfare, healthcare, environment, and business.

That day, Kei Hirabayashi, representative director of the Japan Welfare Medical Fashion Association, and Hiroshi Yagi, representative of our company and vice representative director of the association, were in attendance. They exchanged opinions with the attendees on the topic of how to view excretion from a new perspective and what possibilities it could create for the future society.

Thank you to everyone who participated, and thank you to everyone who contributed to the event.
