[CareTEX Osaka ’24] Hiroshi Yagi spoke about the basics of adult diaper selection and support for independence in toileting.
On October 9, 2024, Hiroshi Yagi participated in the specialized seminar at the Intex Osaka held for the 9th CareTEX Osaka ’24.
CareTEX Osaka ’24 was a business-to-business exhibition for the care sector, organized by Boutiques, Inc.. It took place over three days, October 9–11, 2024.
On the first day, October 9, Hiroshi Yagi spoke in the care products course on ‘Learning from cases: the basics of choosing diapers and supporting independence in toileting—for safe and comfortable living.’
In the lecture, I explained the approach to selecting adult diapers considering each individual’s condition and lifestyle, based on cases I have been involved in through home delivery of adult diapers and activities at the Adult Diaper Information Center Japan. I also highlighted the perspective of viewing adult diapers not merely as products that receive excrement, but as welfare devices that support independence in bowel movements and everyday life.
I would like to express my sincere thanks to all those who listened to the lecture at the venue, as well as to the staff of CareTEX Osaka ’24 who were given the opportunity to participate.
